Recommended Motion:

Review proposal for Superintendent Search Services from Leadership and Associates including in-person interview with the recommended search consultants.

Based upon the results of the board review of the proposal and the interview, the board can take action to accept the proposal and the agreement for consulting services (contract).
Rationale:

The Board Superintendent Search Subcommittee met to review all responses to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Superintendent Search Services and has scheduled an interview with the firm(s) that responded to the minimum requirements of the RFP. 

In total, the Board received five responses from interested firms by the deadline provided.  Based upon a detailed review of these proposals by the Subcommittee, only one firm, Leaderships & Associates, responded to all of the proposed minimum requirements of the RFP and was evaluated highly using the evaluation criteria.  This firm will be interviewing with the Board on March 8, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. 
 
Financial Impact:

The cost of this proposal is $27,950.

IV. DATE, TIME, AND PLACE OF NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING
Quick Summary / Abstract:
The next meeting of the Board of Education is scheduled for March 17, 2016. The Board will convene in open session, and immediately thereafter adjourn to closed session at 5:30 p.m. in the Susan B. Anthony Administration Building at 526 B Street, Davis, California. The Board will reconvene in open session at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the Community Chambers at 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, California.
